It’s a sight to behold, and was almost certainly not Larian’s original intention for characters like Shadowheart and Minthara. Unfortunately, the user didn’t elaborate on how the bug actually occurred, so for now it seems it will remain an extremely bizarre mystery – at least until Larian fixes it.

Gamers in the thread were confused by the images, with one even claiming that ‘The Minthara pics could be used for a creepypasta.’ Others even speculated that this could be the result of a Baldur’s Gate 3 mod gone wrong, although that does seem unlikely given there’s no indication that mods were used for these images.
