Swans’ three-window strategy

Swansea chairman Andy Coleman says their January transfer work has been ongoing since September and revealed the club are operating on a three-window transfer strategy.




Michael Duff’s men enjoyed a busy summer in the recruitment market – their most active for some time – but it is clear more work is needed to strength the Northern Irishman’s options to help move the club up the standings.

Coleman, in an update to supporters, says his ambitions have remained the same – that the club should be challenging for promotion – while also detailing the transfer work that is going on behind the scenes at Fairwood.

“The ambition to be a competitive Championship team that should be challenging for promotion has not changed, nor have my expectations,” he said.

“But there also has to be realism following considerable change across the playing squad and club.
