Candace Cameron Bure, GAF Honor Military Heroes with MY CHRISTMAS HERO Premiere

Great American Family and Candace Cameron Bure teamed up for a special premiere of their movie MY CHRISTMAS HERO to honor real military heroes.
“We truly enjoyed the opportunity to salute these real Christmas heroes as the premiere of MY CHRISTMAS HERO on the joint Base,” Bure said in a press release. “It was fitting to host this screening here at JBLM because that’s where the movie’s story is set.”
The red-carpet event was held on Nov. 15 at the joint Army and Airforce base Lewis-McChord in Washington state.
“In MY CHRISTMAS HERO, US Army reservist and orthopedic physician, Nicole Ramsey (Bure) is dedicated to serving military service members and their families at the Joint Military Base in Lacey, Washington, home of I Corps and the 62nd Airlift Wing. This Christmas, with the help of many dedicated heroes, Dr. Ramsey is on a mission to honor a special fallen soldier and bring much needed healing to her own family,” Great American Family summarized.
The movie will air on Great American Family the day after Thanksgiving, Nov. 24, at 8 p.m. EST / 7 p.m. CST.
Great American Family recently enjoyed its eleventh month of explosive growth, making it TV’s fastest-growing network.

This movie marks one of many that will fill out this year’s Great American Christmas.
Building on last year’s massive success, Great American Christmas 2023 features 20 original holiday movies that emphasize family, faith and hometown values. This year also stars fan favorites, including Candace Cameron Bure, Danica McKellar, Lori Loughlin, Jen Lilley, Trevor Donovan and more.
