Football | November 6

DeKALB, Ill.  –The Northern Illinois University Huskies return to Huskie Stadium Tuesday night, November 7 for the first of back-to-back Tuesday night #MACtion games with a trophy on the line.

Kickoff of the “Battle for the Bronze Stalk” between NIU and Ball State is at 6 p.m. Tickets for NIU’s #MACtion games are available at NIUHuskies.com/myhuskies with the special pricing of $23 for West Side reserved seats and $18 for East Side general admission seating (for online/advance ticket sales). That pricing is good for both Tuesday’s game versus Ball State and for next week’s home finale and Senior Night game versus Western Michigan on November 14.

This week, the Huskie football team helmets will honor those who have served and are serving in the military with special red, white and blue decals on the front and back bumpers of the helmets. In addition, the “dog bone” stickers indicating top plays will be camouflage.

The Yard Moves Inside
For November #MACtion games, The Yard moves inside, to the West End of the Chessick Practice Center and everyone is invited to this pregame area to gather with fellow Huskie fans, check out the sponsor giveaway tables, grab a pregame snack and let the kids run around, play on the inflatables and more in the Pup Club Kids’ Zone. There will be music, provided by a DJ, and the Huskie Marching Band, Silverettes and NIU Cheerleaders will come through at 5 p.m. to fire up the crowd prior to the game.
The Indoor Yard opens at 4 p.m. and ALL ARE WELCOME in this free area.  Enter through the grey double doors across from Ralph McKinzie Field at Walt and Janice Owens Park.
Huskie Athletic Fund members will hear from NIU head coaches Sam Morreale (gymnastics) and Christina Sutcliffe (softball) in the HAF area of The Yard beginning at 4:45 p.m.

Tailgate Time
All donor and Convocation Center lots open three hours prior to kickoff, at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.  Remember to head to the stadium in time to get in your seats. The Huskie Marching Band takes the field approximately 15 minutes before kickoff!
