Orono, Maine – Maine Athletics has announced alterations and updates to its events scheduled for the weekend of Oct. 27 through Oct. 29.
The women’s soccer game against New Hampshire, originally scheduled to be played on Oct. 26 at 6 p.m., has been moved to Friday, Oct. 27 at 5 p.m.
The women’s ice hockey game with Boston University, scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m., has been postponed. A make-up date for the single Hockey East contest will be announced at a later date. Saturday’s women’s ice hockey game with Boston University remains scheduled to be played at Alfond Arena at 5 p.m.
The America East Cross Country Championships (Oct. 27 at 10 a.m.); the football game with UAlbany (Oct. 27 at 1 p.m.); and the field hockey game with California (Oct. 28 at noon) all remain as scheduled.
The University of Maine has announced that it will reopen and resume a regular schedule of classes, both online and in-person, as well as all events on Oct. 27. However, this is subject to change based on new insights or significant changes in the situation.
